When in doubt, follow the label on your shirt.

After that, here are a few thoughts:

• If your item is 100% cotton, it may shrink in the wash. We recommend washing in cold water only and hanging to dry for the best results. Customers have experienced minimal shrinking in the past.
• Don’t Use Fabric Softeners - Fabric softeners are going to alter your shirt!  They can create a cloudy film on the surface of of your shirt. Yikes.
  Plus, Fabric Softeners can take away one of the major benefits of materials with cotton in them – absorbency!
• Wash your shirts inside out - You don't have to, but it is better for the shirt if you do. When garments are in the wash, they rub up against one another. By keeping the item turned inside out, you’ll reduce the chances of your shirts rubbing against one another and impacting each of your designs (this goes for all your tshirts, not just our Cozy ones!)
• If the item says “do not iron”, please don't iron it. More often than not, it’s because the fabric is heat sensitive. Given that, recommending washing in cold water is a safe bet.
• Hanging dry is always best, but let’s face it…real life often doesn’t allow for that. If you must use a dryer, we suggest that they do so on a low tumble dry. It might take a little longer, but it will help preserve the integrity of your shirt
• Don't Dry clean. It sounds so gentle, doesn’t it? Don’t get fooled! Dry cleaning solvents will break down the adhesives in your shirt's design and it will wear out faster
